The number of Americans who will be 65+ by the year 2050 is estimated to be more than 92 million which is twice today's number. This is a population with a variety of special needs, ranging from "arthritis caps" on medicine bottles to sophisticated technology-driven home medical monitoring devices. In the non-pharmaceuticals industry, the senior population needs assistance with modifying their lifestyles, maintaining their mobility and managing chronic diseases.
