On India's Krishna River, a remarkable project is under construction – a new city being built from the ground up. Amaravati is the new greenfield capital city of Andhra Pradesh that aims to be India's cleanest, most environmentally sound, diverse, healthiest, and successful futuristic city that proves accommodating a fast growing population does not necessarily equate to chaotic urbanization, massive pollution, and lack of equal opportunity for jobs and affordable housing.
