The MSDUK organization is a non-profit membership organization driving the development of diverse and inclusive supply chains. That is the formal description of the UK based MSDUK, but this group of innovative and entrepreneurial ethnic minority owned businesses, and dozens of purchasing enterprises, is also proof that diversity and inclusion in supply chains has gone global. The forward-thinking MSDUK was founded by CEO Mayank Shah, after he spent 20 years of business experience in India where he ran his own small business and subsequently pursued a multi-year academic study of supplier diversity in the USA. He is focused on bringing minority-owned enterprises (MBEs) in the UK into the economic mainstream, but his perspective on Supplier Diversity (SD) is a lesson in thinking outside the box....
