Beatrice Louissaint Fosters Economic Growth through Florida State NMSDC

Beatrice Louissaint is the President & CEO of the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC), an affiliate of the National NMSDC. She helped shape state-wide policy for minority business advancement, founded the Haitian American Women's Coalition, and was named as one of the 100 Most Influential Black People in Miami. She tirelessly fosters the growth of minority businesses by matching suppliers with prominent corporate companies. Under her leadership, the FSMSDC has linked minority firms to $10 billion in procurement sales. The FSMSDC operates the Miami and Orlando Minority Business Development Agency Business Centers, strengthening outreach efforts to the diverse business community.

Louissaint has implemented several innovative FSMSDC programs, including the Technical Assistance Program, the FDOT DBE Specialized Development Program and various loan programs. Prior to her current position, Louissaint was the Executive Director of the Black Business Association which assists African–American–owned businesses. She is a pioneer in advocating for diverse businesses and is an honoree in the MDC Alumni Hall of Fame in recognition of her decades of work to advance minority businesses.
