2022 TOP 25 WOMEN IN POWER IMPACTING DIVERSITY
DIVERSITYPLUS RECOGNIZES WOMEN WITH VISION IN SUPPLIER INCLUSION AND DEI SPACE

SOUTH ORANGE, NEW JERSEY – DiversityPlus Magazine is honored to announce the names of the Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity. This is the 14th year DiversityPlus Magazine has had the honor of recognizing Diversity Champions in Supplier Inclusion, Corporate DEI, Procurement, Sourcing, and Supply chain. The women named are proactive leaders in their efforts to make their organizations and communities more inclusive, and they continuously strive to create new opportunities for women and diverse businesses around the globe. Using their knowledge and expertise in relationship building, these women are change agents who deeply believe progress in Supplier Inclusion & Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) to be the foundation for improving people’s lives, business performance, and community economics.

The Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity will be featured in the second quarter issue of DiversityPlus Magazine. The magazine will be shared with thousands of corporate executives, suppliers, and diversity professionals through social media, print, and the digital platform. In addition, the women leaders will be featured in the DiversityPlus digital eMagazine, that reaches over 151,000 readers in the United States, European Union and seven additional countries across continents. This approach publicly recognizes the women leaders and also gives other organizations and diversity leaders new contacts for exploring how they can also become powerful forces for change.

The second quarter issue of DiversityPlus Magazine will include a short bio of each woman, highlighting her best practices, perspectives, and accomplishments in the supplier & DEI space. The women are not only working within their organizations but are actively reaching out to suppliers, community members, and diversity-focused associations to make connections and produce measurable results. This is an energized network of diverse leaders, who see challenges and barriers in the supplier and DEI space as inspiration for making positive changes.

Each woman was nominated by someone in their organization in recognition of the impact she has on making the organization and communities more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. The nominee submitted a bio and answers to three questions that succinctly describe her approach to expanding supplier inclusion and DEI internally and externally. The first question asked for a description of the keys to developing a successful supplier diversity program. The second question asked for an explanation of the source of inspiration for relentlessly pursuing DEI despite many challenges and barriers. The third question asked how the company’s top-down support for the diversity program made a difference in personal success.

An independent editorial team reviewed the bios and responses to the questions, and narrowed the list to the top 25. Although DiversityPlus Magazine chose to select 25 women, it was not an easy task. Each nominee is a remarkable DEI or supplier inclusion leader who has developed the right strategy for their respective organization. They are fearless champions of inclusion, who are developing world-class DEI and supplier diversity programs and leveraging their positions to also develop stronger workforce diversity initiatives. Their energy, refusal to let barriers stand in the way of progress, and belief in the power of supplier inclusion and DEI to create a better world for all is remarkable.

The editorial staff of DiversityPlus Magazine encourages all readers to read the bios and find inspiration for their own organizations - and also to congratulate the Women in Power Impacting Diversity for their leadership and success. The bios are meant to inspire other leaders and organizations to join the effort to make DEI and supplier inclusion personal and sustainable. Though there remains a need for significant progress, the top 25 women show the effort, dedication, and innovativeness it takes to overcome challenges.
