As the president of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), Candace Waterman focuses on advocating for women-owned businesses and women entrepreneurs in the public arena. She has successfully raised the organization's brand awareness at all government levels, from local to federal. Waterman works to have a positive impact on government policies on five pillars of business: Infrastructure, procurement, taxes and the economy, access to capital, and workforce development.
