As the director of supplier diversity at Nationwide Insurance, Frantz Tiffeau has a broad perspective of the positive impacts of supplier diversity, internally to the organization and externally in communities. Tiffeau attributes the success of Nationwide's supplier diversity team efforts to first recognizing and respecting the differences in ideas and thoughts that organizational colleagues present. His success is built on his capability for engaging and cultivating relationships with vendors, suppliers, and outsourced manufacturers. Tiffeau encourages diverse thoughts and points of view as a source of innovation and economic growth through inclusion. He cultivates relationships with members of the Associate Resource Groups, developing internal champions of supplier diversity. Tiffeau has established numerous diverse supplier mentoring and professional development opportunities. He works closely with certifying diversity organizations to identify strategic, mutually beneficial opportunities.
