Nancy Allen is the CEO of the Women's Business Development Council of Florida (HER Company). Affiliated with WBENC, the WBDC of Florida certifies, champions, and connects women-owned businesses. Allen has strived to offer female entrepreneurs a variety of tools that support business startup and growth. They include business development strategies (HERtoolbox), HERopportunities for diverse suppliers, information resources, and interviews with successful WBEs. Also offered are coaching, mentorship, and training for strategic business development.
The dynamic WBD of Florida reflects Allen's deep commitment to women in business. She energizes women through international speaking, coaching, and consulting. With 30 years of experience helping small business owners succeed, Allen leads an equally energetic team dedicated to championing women in business. Allen has been honored by the International Career and Business Alliance (CABA) as one of South Florida's 100 most accomplished Caribbean Americans. She has also received the World Women Leadership Achievement Award from the World Women Leadership Congress. Allen was named an Honorary Ambassador of Cascais, Portugal, by the Ambassador’s Club of the Industry Sector of Cascais and the Estoril Coast.
