Susan Au Allen founded the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Education Foundation (USPAACC) in 1984, and since 2001 has served as the CEO and national president. Under her leadership, the organization has continually grown, becoming an influential voice for diverse Pan Asian American business and professional people. Allen is well-known in Washington, D.C., as a passionate advocate for small, minority, and women businesses. In the past, she has served on prestigious councils like the 21st Century Workforce Committee on the Future of the Workplace, U.S. Small Business Administration National Women's Business Council, and the Washington Board of Trade's Washington Initiative.
Allen is a frequent guest at Executive Branch and Congressional events and forums. Having earned numerous recognitions for her forward-thinking work, her proudest achievement is the growth of the USPAACC and its ability to connect business to business, create new business opportunities, and provide educational and professional opportunities for Asian Americans. Over the decades, Allen has led the USPAACC in developing substantial social and economic connections to the Asia Pacific and Indian Subcontinent regions.
