Terrence Clark Grows NY-NJ Supplier Diversity Development Council


Terrence Clark is the President and CEO of the New York New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council and also sits on the board. He has led the Council to phenomenal success, crediting the work of his team members and the certified suppliers and corporate members that actively participate in programs and events. Clark has more than 30 years of experience in minority business development and supply-chain industries and has been instrumental in helping organizations adapt to positive changes over the years, such as more involvement of the C-suite which moved supplier diversity from being a way to level the economic playing field to a business success strategy for remaining competitive.

Under Clark's leadership, the Council is expanding networking opportunities that bring corporate members and diverse suppliers together, building mentorship programs, and adding technical assistance programs for suppliers. Clark works to develop strong relationships in communities in the Council's market areas by regularly offering programs and activities. Prior to joining the Council, he served as Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Business Development for the National Urban League.
