Supplier Diversity helps level the playing field enabling all businesses to have full participation in procurement opportunities—which strengthens our economy. Annette Stevenson believes in this passionately and ‘as Supplier Diversity Manager at V’ it is something she is able to directly influence. Annette and the SAS team have built a program committed to providing MWBE companies with access to procurement opportunities, education and business development tools.

Annette serves on several boards including the Maryland/D.C. Minority Supplier Development Council, the N.C. Indian Economic Development Initiative, the N.C. M/WBE Coordinators’ Network, the N.C. Veterans Business Association and the Triangle Chapter, Institute of Supply Management.

In her role at SAS, Annette has been credited with several notable awards including Small Business Administration’s 2011 N.C. Minority Small Business Champion of the Year, Advocate of the Year by the Carolina Minority Supplier Development Council and Woman Business Advocate of the Year by the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina.
