Though AT&T's Supplier Diversity program is among the nation's oldest, Alexis Dennard, Assistant Vice President of Mass Markets Supply Chain, Supplier Inclusivity & Sustainability, has led it through a significant transformation. Under her leadership, the team has achieved robust strategic alignment and collaboration with Procurement and business unit clients, integrated advanced technology and tools to gain valuable data insights, and instituted operational rigor to align with organizational priorities.
As a trusted leader, Alexis has significantly increased the program's visibility by fostering direct connections with peers across the company. Her team strategically emphasizes ongoing engagement with diverse suppliers through various outreach events and activities. In 2023 alone, the team participated in 60 virtual and in-person events with community-based organizations and national/regional Minority Supplier Development Councils.
