Donna Aaron is the Global Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Consultant at Lockheed Martin, where she focuses on leadership Diversity and Inclusion training to broaden perspectives at the executive level and among 3,000 associates. She helped establish a framework to host Courageous Conversations during the 2020 racial and social unrest, and partnered with multiple Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to organize panel discussions. Her intentional strategy is to develop a robust scalable framework that supports ongoing dialogue into the future. Donna led a team of cross-functional personnel through each stage of the development of the Global Diversity & Inclusion year-end report, and launched an inclusive micro-learning platform pilot to support global D&I opportunities for executive and BRG leaders in a virtual environment.
To champion diversity and supplier inclusion, Donna integrates supplier diversity within the strategic priorities of Lockheed Martin Business Resource Groups. She recently implemented pilot programs with the PRIDE and Military Veterans BRGs to support LGBTQ and veteran disability business owners in attaining certification with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and DisabilityIn organization. She believes frequent communication, executive visibility, and a clear roadmap are crucial to managing change in large organizations.
