Eboni Edwards, is the Global Supplier Diversity Development Manager for CBRE Inc., and currently advocates for diverse suppliers in the CBRE global development program. In the past year, she has designed and implemented a system of tracking assessments and growth opportunities for diverse suppliers that utilizes a proprietary data-capturing platform. The program aims to train, mentor and guide suppliers currently working with CBRE or would like to work for CBRE in the future.
Throughout Eboni’s career she has worked tirelessly to promote diverse supplier representation in different corporate and government bidding processes. She focuses on topics like safety and sustainability, to help suppliers become more proactive in meeting corporate needs. At CBRE, she has been challenged with working across the globe in markets maturing in procurement capabilities and learning different country specifications.
In 2020, Eboni was appointed to a task force by Louisville Mayor Fischer to focus on economic growth in one of the poorest areas. The successful outreach and development experience instilled a belief that when supplier diversity is done right, it can impact even the most impoverished communities. In 2022, Eboni went on to win the National Veteran Business Development Council’s President’s Award for her work with veteran-owned businesses.
Communication is Eboni’s key to success.
