Emma Chontos is Intuit’s Chief Procurement Officer, leading the journey to partner with top suppliers around the world, including those who champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and social impact to increase efficiencies, accelerate growth, and realize the highest value from the diverse partner ecosystem.

Emma championed and led the development of Intuit’s Supplier Diversity & Sustainability Program focused on driving connections with top suppliers engaging in creating inclusive sourcing standards, Tier 2 supplier diversity, global community engagement with local relevancy, and supplier development initiatives that unite Intuit’s customer base and supply chain. Intuit was one of the first companies to roll out an Amazon Business guided buying solution that allows employees to purchase from a variety of businesses, including certified diverse and small business sellers.

Emma’s team applies a platform approach to DEI and social impact across the value chain to power Intuit's prosperity resulting in an inclusive pipeline of opportunities for all suppliers, including diverse and small businesses, to partner with Intuit. Emma is shifting procurement from a contract and process-heavy organization to a higher-impact function connected to what is happening in the broader market. She is evolving her team’s role into “value officers.”
