Gladys Lopez is the Global Head of Supplier Diversity at the Enterprise Change, Resiliency & Sourcing Office (ECRSO) of BNY Mellon. She is spearheading change at BNY Mellon by focusing on supplier growth and increasing procurement spending. In her time as Global Head of Supplier Diversity, she has managed to increase procurement spending in less than a year, with Black-owned and Hispanic-owned businesses. She is proud to say that BNY Mellon counts with hundreds of diverse suppliers who represent a crucial part of their supply chain.
She is also at the forefront of supplier advocacy and supplier development driving a formal mentoring program, as well as offering scholarships to certified diverse suppliers to help them attend executive management training programs. Gladyscelebrates the exceptional performance by employees and diverse suppliers at the annual awards and recognition event.
