Gloria Pualani, the Corporate Director, Global Supplier Diversity for Northrop Grumman Corporation, oversees the direction and management of all socio-economic business program requirements from a corporate perspective. Her philosophy is to see challenges as opportunities to enhance and strengthen the global supplier diversity program. She develops, implements, and leads a strategic approach to build a diverse supply chain that promotes creativity and ingenuity and supports company objectives to develop, produce, and deliver the very best products and services to customers.
Gloria was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Cyber Warrior Diversity Mentor Protégé Program that enables minority students to gain DoD 8570 certifications. The cyber training program gives students the ability to compete for jobs in the cybersecurity space and addresses the issue of getting diverse candidates into the jobs pipeline. The program also has the potential to have a long-term broad positive economic impact on the communities the students come from. The training team included a small minority firm and two historically black colleges from the state of Maryland.
