Holli Harrington Fosters Public Value Through D&I at Indianapolis Airport Authority


Holli Harrington, Sr. Director of Supplier Diversity and Diversity Officer at the Indianapolis Airport Authority, fosters public value and economic development through diversity and inclusion. She sees the supplier diversity policy as a call to action for internal stakeholders and effectively leverages the strong support from the Board of Directors and executive leadership team, to provide access for diverse businesses to engage in meaningful business opportunities with the airport. Holli developed a program that is based on collaboration with decision-makers, participation goals, communication, and accountability. Community outreach efforts are used as avenues to share upcoming opportunities, encourage businesses to network, partner, and engage with leadership and staff.

Holli is inspired by the people behind the diverse businesses the airport is uplifting through equitable inclusion and the collective efforts of the internal staff. She is proud of the sustained economic impact the airport’s Supplier Diversity program maintained despite the challenges of COVID-19. Holli expands her impact by participating in aviation diversity working groups and community organizations, such as the Airport Minority Advisory Council and the Indianapolis Government Alliance on Race and Equity.
