Kevin D. Gordon, MBA, is the Vice President, Supply Chain at Grady Health System. He has implemented several successful initiatives to enhance the supply chain, including “Supply Chain Transformation: Back to the Basics,” which is focused on increasing supply chain employee engagement and improving division processes. He collaborates with the Group Purchasing Organization to increase spend with local suppliers and supports Grady Health System’s role in leading the conversation around community contracting in Georgia. Kevin created an environment for inclusive procurement to ensure diverse suppliers are meaningful supply chain partners.
The Supplier Diversity & Equity Team provides thought leadership in economic inclusion, diverse supplier engagement, and utilization on a national level. Kevin leads the education, development, and mentoring of diverse suppliers on working with a health system, a group purchasing organization, and distributors. He fosters a strong, 3-way mutually beneficial relationship between Grady Health System’s Board of Directors, Grady Leadership, and the Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority. This relationship benefits the patients at Grady and the residents of Dekalb and Fulton counties. His personal trifecta is People, Processes, and Finances.
