Lynn Garrison, Director of Supplier Diversity for Premier, Inc, intentionally advocates for and strives to be an Ambassador for diverse businesses. She manages the Sourcing Education and Enrichment for Diverse and Small Suppliers (SEEDS) program, designed to give diverse companies opportunities. Throughout her career, Lynn has had a proven history of leading the creation of Supplier Development as a pillar in the overall program strategy.
She aligns supplier diversity with business strategy by developing a custom strategic growth plan with thoughtful prioritization to drive success. Lynn believes a best practice is meeting the company where it is, by developing diverse and small supplier opportunities. Supplier diversity is integrated within the procurement process and supported with the appropriate resources.
With the true support of senior leadership, Lynn fulfills a commitment to supplier diversity. She is most proud of mentoring small minority companies and seeing their year-over-year growth continue over a long period. Lynn believes change is inevitable, so she embraces it as bringing new opportunities for diverse suppliers who contribute to Premier’s ability to adapt to new technologies and social changes.
