Monette Knapik Spearheads Four Supplier Diversity Strategic Pillars at CVS Health.

The Executive Director, Supplier Diversity for CVS Health, Monette Knapik, was instrumental in the induction of CVS Health into the Billion Dollar Roundtable. She drives the execution of the four strategic pillars for the CVS Health Supplier Diversity Program: Program and Process Management, Communication and Program Branding, Relationship Building, and Supplier Education and Development. Monette fosters strong external relationships and partnerships with advocacy organizations and collaborates with Enterprise Procurement to build robust partnerships with Strategic Sourcing. Monette has been instrumental in building meaningful relationships with several universities and colleges, and has also expanded CVS Health’s footprint to include prestigious Historically Black Colleges and Universities—like Morehouse College, North Carolina A&T University, and Florida A&M University. The goal of these relationships is to arm the diverse suppliers of tomorrow with the skills they need to flourish through elevated engagement in their local communities, diverse supplier development and access to a pipeline of networking opportunities.

Under Monette’s leadership, the CVS Health Supplier Diversity team has adapted and pivoted to embrace technology and social changes. Her team aligns its goals with the ESG and Philanthropy organization to ensure objectives are carried out through the enterprise’s robust diverse supply chain— which in 2022 included an annual spend of $4.2 billion with diverse suppliers. Monette’s support of the Social Justice and Equity Program, in conjunction with the Roger Williams University Executive Learning Series program, led to expanding opportunities for HBCUs. Programs focus on the communities in which the universities and colleges operate.
