Nedra Dickson, Global Supplier Inclusion & Sustainability Lead at Accenture, adeptly and successfully manages a global role with the help of her dedicated team. One of the strategies she employs for success is finding internal champions across the organization who have the same level of commitment as her team members. Under her strong value-driven leadership, Nedra champions diverse suppliers who are also community leaders, leveraging their knowledge and connections to promote innovation.
There are many achievements to list, but one of the success stories Nedra proudly shares is her role in the Global Diverse Supplier Development Program. Nedra and her team partner carefully selected diverse suppliers with Accenture executives who then serve as mentors. The program has mentored more than 150 diverse suppliers globally and integrated them into the supply chain. The mentoring program has helped many of the graduates grow their businesses as they implemented key lessons the executives shared on a variety of topics that include RFP responses, Human Resources, capital management, and branding.
