Rona Fourté, Global Leader for Supplier Diversity in CBRE’s Global Procurement Office, has built success on four principles. One is enabling and empowering teams by equipping them with the necessary tools and resources. Collaborative goal setting, accountability, and forming active partnerships are also important. Rona partners with networks outside traditional supplier diversity channels and collaborates with industry-specific associations to better understand factors influencing business decisions and strategies.
A paramount area focus for Rona is driving impact with her team through the CBRE Supplier Diversity Development program. She works to ensure diverse suppliers have the necessary resources and support to use new and emerging technologies effectively. Rona also believes providing education and training that empowers diverse suppliers to enhance their capabilities and compete more effectively. Rona also works with suppliers to encourage them to use environmental sustainability performance platforms. She considers the top-down support and cross-functional collaboration with the Culture/DEI team and other organizational members significant components of the Supplier Diversity program's success.
