Shauna Gamble is the Chief Procurement Officer and Senior Vice President Supply Chain at Bombardier. She has end-to-end supply chain accountability, including supplier choice, contract management, procurement, logistics, materials management, and supplier quality management. Shauna is leading the transformation of procurement in aviation and ensuring that Bombardier continues to be a best-in-class organization. She initiated the Diamond Supplier Program to help increase supply chain accountability by recognizing outstanding supplier performance. Shauna also spearheaded the creation of a Procurement Academy, where team members have access to expansive training opportunities to bonify their expertise. The Procurement Academy was helpful in triggering more diversity awareness and gave employees the skills they needed, or wanted, to get ahead in their career.
Shauna launched the Women in Supply Chain program to engage and mentor women in business, leading to the growth of women in Supply Chain by 52%. She structured the Engagement Program for the supply chain team to increase employee engagement and satisfaction, and the leadership team is now actively involved in engagement activities, like the Plant-a-Tree Project, which aims to plant 25,000 trees by 2025. Shauna is a strategic thinker, can read a room in negotiations, and builds, trains, and empowers diverse teams to work together toward common goals.
