Sundari Pai Luts is the Senior Manager, Global Supplier Diversity at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). She has a unique perspective, previously working for diverse suppliers and now a large corporation. Sundari established Supplier Diversity programs at minority and women-owned companies, and in her current role she works with functions across the organization in leading on supplier diversity communications, and also develops and executes corporate global supplier diversity program. Sundari along with the team takes Supplier Diversity to the next level by bringing strategic initiatives to global programming and expansion. She established a communications office for supplier diversity activities across the corporation in the strategic sourcing and procurement organization, led the creation of the Partnering with Purpose campaign on Supplier Diversity, and develops strategies for inclusion of the Supplier Diversity business plan across eight People Business and Resource Groups.
Sundari connects with the community as a member of the leadership team at Differently Abled Workplace Network (DAWN) for the BMS People Business Resource Group. She is also lead of the community outreach program Power2Impact serving underrepresented and underserved communities, frequently partnering with internal business stakeholders such as, People Business and Resource Groups, government affairs, talent acquisition as well as external advocacy organizations like WBENC, and others for full positive impact on communities. Sundari is also a mentor, coach and advocate to many small & diverse suppliers, employees, and community partners and takes pride in success of others.
