Trevor Boylston Empowers Colleagues as Advocates for Diversity at Boston Scientific


Trevor Boylston is the Manager, Supplier Diversity for Boston Scientific. He believes his most significant achievement is empowering colleagues to advocate for diversity in the workplace, and witnessing their transformative impact. He mentors his peers and coworkers, helping them develop the skills of patience, assuming positive intent, and articulating the need for change in a manner that resonates with the business. When championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), sustainability, and supplier inclusion within the organization, storytelling, empathy, and relationship building lie at the heart of Trevor’s approach.

Trevor experienced firsthand the transformative impact of sharing his journey as a transgender man in the workplace, which inspired him to create a culture that values and celebrates our differences. He actively engages with employee resource groups (ERGs) and leads PRIDE globally. Trevor is a founding member of FIRE (Fostering Indigenous Resources and Empowerment), the newest ERG focused on supporting indigenous employees. He strives to develop the skills needed to dismantle systemic barriers and create a more inclusive environment by offering resources, workshops, and support.
