Adriene Bruce is Building Internal Diversity Practices at MillerKnoll


Adriene Bruce is the Senior Manager of Supplier Diversity at MillerKnoll. Bruce’s focus at MillerKnoll has been identifying diverse business owners for inclusion into the supply chain and business unit opportunities, as well as deepening existing partnerships with incumbent diverse businesses and suppliers. She also works to develop internally synergistic relationships between different teams at the company to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion. Bruce established a strategy that brought together the Global Supply Management team, diverse-owned dealers within the company’s network as well as the sales team to work together to efficiently source diverse-suppliers, drive deeper equity and measure MillerKnoll’s success.


While MillerKnoll has had over a 30-year commitment to Supplier Diversity programming, Bruce’s leadership has led to increasing the process of equity and inclusion. By building a team of Supplier Diversity Program Managers, Bruce has been instrumental in moving diversity progress forward with tangible results.


A graduate of Howard University, and certified in Advanced Supply Chain Management by the St. Louis University’s John Cook School of Business, she has also been active in the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and other NGO networks for over 15 years.
