Shweta Ghuge is Redefining Diversity in IT at StradIT

Shweta Ghuge is the CEO of StradIT, an information technology firm that is looking to disrupt a space largely and traditionally dominated by men. Her organization is devoted to the empowerment of women as its primary area of focus, and it takes this mission very seriously, with Ghuge insisting on adherence to the United Nation’s ambitious SDG/ESG goals. She believes that StradIT differentiates itself in her market space by offering diverse talent who can think and perform differently. This is why she encourages her employees to capitalize on their diverse experiences and perspectives to think outside the box, drive innovation, and take risks when working with clients.

Thus far, her work seems to be paying off: StradIT’s program that seeks to bring women back into the workplace (an initiative that looks to expand to LGBTQ+ and veterans in the near future) has resulted in the company boasting a 59% employment rate for women and minorities. All of this makes StradIT a prime example of what can happen when an organization has full executive buy-in to the idea that supplier diversity is not only socially important, but a vital and crucial business position to stake out for the future.
