Kimberly Coffman is the Manager, Supplier Diversity & Inclusion at Delta Air Lines and is responsible for executing a strategic supplier diversity initiative that spans global operations. Her strategy to reach goals is to fully integrate supplier inclusion into the day-to-day operations and procedures of the corporate supply chain management and procurement teams, and also in the organization’s culture. This includes corporate employee onboarding and training programs, global sales, and goals assigned to supply chain category teams and business units with the responsibility to procure goods and services.
Championing supplier inclusion programs, helping to educate women and diverse-owned businesses on how to gain mind share and contract with large corporations, and seeing the businesses succeed are what inspires Kimberly to keep pushing the envelope. She visualizes a more inclusive world, and she views her work as a way to directly impact the world’s ability to be connected and to achieve a greater good. Kimberly is proud of her ability to utilize her experience and knowledge to share the story of supplier diversity and inclusion, to in turn encourage others to become diversity champions.
