As the Supplier Diversity Manager within Limited Brands, Abigail Kofete has been instrumental in building a corporate program to increase and maximize the procurement opportunities for diversity businesses. She has been able to achieve this by coaching and educating suppliers on Limited Brands’ procurement and business activities and has created an integrated strategy with clearly defined goals and objectives.

By ensuring that Limited Brands is a member of a diverse group of organizations focused on the diverse business sector, Abigail has improved the company’s visibility. Through both internal and external collaboration, attendance at trade shows, awards luncheons and seminars, Abigail has shown how increasing the inclusion of diverse businesses is of benefit to Limited Brands and how those smaller businesses can best incorporate themselves into the Limited Brands family.

Abigail has resolved the supplier diversity challenges by leveraging key relationships with key leaders and associates within the company to better assist in leading, managing and supporting supplier diverse efforts.
