Beth Canning was instrumental in launching the Diverse Supplier Advisory group within Prudential Financial. This Group not only serves to advise Prudential in their dealings with MWBE companies, but its members have in turn increased their own internal MWBE relationships.

As the Supplier Diversity Manager of Prudential Financial Inc, Beth has helped to exceed MWBE spending targets on a yearly basis. Prudential spending in the MWBE sector has increased by 56 percent from 2006 to 2010 and the pace has ‘in no way’ slowed down with a 13 percent increase between 2009 and 2010 alone.

Beth has been nominated for a variety of awards over the years and was listed among the WE - Women’s Enterprise USA First Ladies of Supplier Diversity (2008), Minority Business News USA First Ladies of Supplier Diversity (2007), WE - Women’s Enterprise USA Best of the Decade (Director/Manager) (2007) and WE – Women’s Enterprise USA 100 Women Impacting Supplier Diversity (2006).

Beth also serves on the membership committee of the NY NJ Minority Supplier Development Council and is a board member for the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization.
