Skyne Betha is the Supplier Diversity Manager for Foodbuy LLC, the purchasing organization for Compass Group North America, the leader in food service management and support services headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Skyne has greatly improved awareness around MWBE suppliers through the development of company newsletters and marketing materials. In addition, Skyne was responsible for the annual Foodbuy Supplier Diversity Showcase. This event takes place during Compass Groups’ Diversity Week and allows MWBE companies the opportunity to meet senior executives at Foodbuy, increasing their opportunities for additional revenue.

Skyne has received numerous accolades and commendations and was recently nominated as MBE Coordinator of the Year by the Carolinas MSDC. She is also very active in local and national Diversity Action Council meetings and events where she often acts as a liaison between minority suppliers and category management teams, coordinating quarterly business reviews to create new business opportunities and increase dollar spending with minority suppliers.
