Cebrina Harley is the Small Business Liaison Officer for two truck companies, Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks, Inc. – parent company of AB Volvo which is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. Both companies produce premium, quality, heavy-duty, Class 8 trucks that are well known in the market as well as icons in the industry. Both trucks are manufactured in the U.S.
For the past several years, Cebrina Harley has sponsored the Carolinas MSDC’s annual Business Opportunity Conference and Gala. She chaired the Carolinas MSDC’s Business Opportunity Conference for consecutive years (2005-2006) . She won the MBE Coordinator of the Year award from the council in 2006 and 2009. She also serves on its board of directors.
In addition, she is a member and former officer of the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s Automotive Industry Group. She holds a seat on the advisory board of the North Carolina Women’s Business Center. Outside of purchasing, Harley is a member of Volvo’s U.S. workforce diversity team and one of the first co-leaders of Volvo’s Multicultural Professionals Network in Greensboro.
With Enterprise Holdings, she helped the company take a more active role in minority diversity councils to improve its program.
