As the senior vice president of diversity and strategic alliances for Major League Baseball, Wendy Lewis has helped Especially for You Gifts become one of the premier gift vendors for MLB’s annual All-Star Game. In September, Lewis spoke at the World Diversity Leadership Summit and was the keynote speaker at Purdue University’s fifth annual Relationship to Partnerships Session in November. Most recently she provided the keynote speech for the Greater New England Minority Supplier Diversity Council’s annual conference.

Lewis directs MLB’s Diversity Economic Impact Engagement Initiative. In 2006, Lewis led the team that developed and launched MLB’s new talent pipeline, The Executive Development Program, a two-year rotational career development initiative. Lewis is also the leader and strategist of MLB’s Diverse Business Partners Program, the premier minority procurement program in professional sports. Since the formation of the program, over $700 million have been spent with thousands of minority-owned and women-owned businesses.
