The Healthcare Diversity Council, an initiative of the National Diversity Council, will host its third annual National Healthcare DEI Conference. The two-day conference will include more than 15 panel sessions led by a range of healthcare executives, entrepreneurs and medical experts, a keynote address from Walgreens Chief Clinical Trials Officer Ramita Tandon and an awards luncheon. Focusing on the theme “Planning our Path to Equity,” the conference will address the following topics:

  •  Attaining greater diversity and inclusion in the healthcare 
     industry by advancing cultural competency

  •  Increasing access to high-quality healthcare services, 
     strengthening the medical research agenda

  •  Ensuring optimal management of the health care system

  •  Increasing the diversity of the health professional pipeline 
     in major healthcare areas
