Janice B. Williams-Hopkins <br /> Program Manager Supplier Diversity, United States Post Office

Under the leadership of Janice B. Williams-Hopkins, Program Manager Supplier Diversity, the United States Post Office (USPS) has been recognized as one of America’s Top Agencies for Multicultural Business Opportunities. Most recently, the USPS was named the 2012 Public Entity of the Year. Her success is attributed to her tireless efforts to cultivate relationships with small MWBEs hoping to land government business contracts. She also serves as the liaison between the USPS and other entities concerning supplier development and diversity issues. Among her many accomplishments is overseeing the development of the first computer-based training course on Supplier Diversity for the USPS.

Janice is a Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.). She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the Board of Directors for the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (VMSDC), and Board of Directors for the Maryland/DC Minority Supplier Diversity Council (MSDC).

Janice attended Howard University and Gallaudet College in Washington DC. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College and a Masters Certification in Project Management from the School of Business and Public Management at George Washington University in Washington DC.
